The Schanskraal FEI***Endurance Ride on the Schanskraal Estate (home to the Welbech Arabian Stud) and some 90kms from Graaff Reinet, is a significant event in the endurance riding annual calendar and takes place in October each year.
During the Schanskraal FEI***Endurance Ride in 2012 year we also hosted the South African 160km Championships. It was a very successful Ride with 103 entries. We had a 70% pass rate and 40 riders for the 160km Ride which was the highest number since 1988.

ERASA Categories offered: 160km, 120km, 80km,
All Senior Weight Divisions, Junior & Child Sections + Step Ladder.

We are very proud to announce that once again we have been chosen to host the South African 160km (100 Miler) Championships at Schanskraal during the FEI Ride on the 19th October 2013.
